Anemia Caused by Heavy Uterine Bleeding

If you are a female whose feeling tired and experiencing heavy periods each month, you are not alone. Excessive menstrual bleeding can sometimes cause iron deficiency anemia. You may be eligible to participate in a research study of an investigational drug for iron deficiency anemia at no cost to you.

Study Information

Duration of Study - 6 weeks

Participants - Females at least 18 years old

Study Care Includes - Study related exams, laboratory tests, and investigational drug


Participant Stipend - Compensation Available

 

Candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be a female at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a history of heavy uterine bleeding within the past six months OR
  • Must be postpartum
